A Magical Children's Garden

Our Own Booklet

We have received so many requests for assistance in starting a children's garden that we decided to publish a small booklet to use as an elementary template in your endeavors. This booklet was a collaboration among the Children's Garden Project, YO ART, Inc, Slow Food Charleston, and Sanders Clyde Elementary School. The 2nd grade students chronicled their initial garden experiences through text and photographs. Since we did not change their journal writings, I occasionally explained what was occurring in the photos. I also wrote an approximate 3 1/2 page simple summary of what to expect, look out for, and think about as you take on this initiative. The recipes that are included are the recipes that were cooked by the students from veggies and herbs harvested from their garden.

This booklet sells for $10.00 ($11.75 including shipping).
